The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

From the end of October to the beginning of April, I am most happy. College basketball has started and for the roughly the next six months, Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays will be devoted to my one true love - Duke Blue Devil basketball. I love college football and all, and it's definitely one of my favorite sports, but basketball has always been IT. I love it more than anything, I played for such a long time and I really miss it, but I love watching it. And this season Nebraska will play Texas Tech here so I will get tickets for Grandma again. I've done it the last few season whenever Tech has been here, because I adore Bobby Knight and Grandma loves college basketball probably even more than I do. Plus, she kicks major ass in the March Madness pools everywhere and always wins. Pretty awesome, huh?

In a completely unrelated note, I am getting a new car. Not my Escalade, have to have my Doctorate first, but this is the first car I will be paying for myself. I'm psyched to have a brand new car that is completely mine that no one else has ever driven before. It should all be taken care of within the next month or so.

FALL OUT BOY IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS!!!! I can't wait to see them, emo as they might be. Pete Wentz is pretty.

I don't get to go home for Thanksgiving because of the concert and having to go to stupid Iowa, but whatever, I can suffer in Iowa for a few hours if it means seeing Pete. I'll probably end up going with Shelly to her family Thanksgiving which will be cool.

That's all, it's seriously time for bed. The kids are going to be INSANE tomorrow.
